Warm Memories Quilt

This quilt is a lap quilt.... I took a class on the Cape Cod, MA before I moved to WI..... This class was a Mystery Quilt class and we did not know how it would look till just before we finished it.... I did learn how to do different things while taking this class... Adelle showed us some short cuts and we tyred triangles on a roll and reverse appliqued... The class was a lot of fun and there was 8 of us ......All of our quilts came out so different because of the material packets we chose and everyone quilted them all different ....... I chose to hand quilt mine, this is because I love to hand quilt.... This quilt is one of the many projects I need to finish....
This is the label I made for this quilt...... I had fun making this because I bought this kit at the Chicago Quilt Show.... The kit has a book, material and permanent pen's to make the labels......There is so many patterns to choose from and I thought this one went well with the quilt..... The color's match the color's in the quilt.... :)

2009 International Quilt Festival/ Chicago

This quilt called "Traditional Treasures VII... The quilt made it's debut at this show... It is much nicer that the picture... We were not suppose to take pictures but, I had to hurry so none would catch me.... Oh, well.... That is why the pictures did not come out too clear.... :)

Hi to all my Blogging friends.... On April 17, 2009 I went to the International Quilt Festival / Chicago .... It was held in the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Ill. This Convention center is on the outskirts of Chicago.... There were over 200 Vendors and 1,000 quilts, pieces of fabric and wearable art ensembles were on display to enjoy and inspired all.....There was so much to see and I had a great time viewing all of them as well as I shopped at the vendors.... If you have never been to a large quilt show.... I highly recommend it... In the coming weeks they will have a web site you can visit and see the quilt they had on display ...."Quilt Festival @ Home" at www.quilts.com ..... There was one quilt I was hoping to capture... It was a goat with a daisy in it's mouth....The hand work on some of the was just wonderful.... Enjoy the web site... :)

Wave Table Topper

This is a Wave table topper that I made out of the materials that I had left over from the Bunny runner I made.... I needed something that I could do quick for the dining room table for Easter and for the Spring.... It was not difficult and the picture does nothing for the beautiful fabrics that I used... but it came out nice and very spring like.... :)
