Snow Birds

This block is from "Winter Wonderland"... The block is called Snow Birds.....This is block number 5 that I have finished....I have 5 more to do and a bonus block... It sure keeps my hands busy... It will be great to see this project finished.... :)

Winter Wonderland 3 & 4

These two blocks are number 3 and 4 done for the stichery called,  "Winter Wonderland" ..... I was able  to get these done because my sewing machine was in for its annual check up.... The top block is called "Verse" and the block on the bottom of the picture is called "Snowball Fight" .... I now have 6  more blocks to finish the embroidery for this quilt....how sweet are these.....  :)

Winter Wonderland #2

This is block two of  Winter Wonderland.... I now have seven more to go... This block is called " Snow Angel" .... How sweet is this.... I will keep you all posted on the other blocks when I finish them.... This block was pretty quick and easy.... :)

Winter Wonderland

This is the first block to "Winter Wonderland" that I finished...9 more to go, some big and some small... This block is called "Candy Cane  Closeline" .... The pattern is by "Crabapple Hill".  I bought this when I went to the Cape ... My friends and I went on our own shop hop in MA. One stop we made at Emma's Quilt's shop where I purchase this pattern ....It may look black and white... but, it is navy blue... If you click on the picture you can see the snow flakes on the white material....I enjoy hand embroidery and I work on hand work when I watch TV or if I am babysitting Braeden... :)

"Feed The Birds" Sign

This Cross Stich is from a Verry Special Friend on the Cape, she made this for me and my sister for Christmas .... I have hung it near the back door, so to remind me to "Feed the Birds"......When anyone comes into the house from the front door or the garage door, you can see the sign hanging by the back door.... Robyn does a beautiful job on her cross stichery... I just love her work and I have seen many of them.... Thank you Robyn.... :)

2009 Christmas Gifts

My BEST FRIEND  on the Cape sent me this book that I wanted for Christmas... I have read all of Jennifer Chiaverini's  (Elm Creek Quilt Novels) books and this is her latest book....I can't wait to start reading it.... I am just finishing up reading the "Twilight Saga"..... You will notice the book marker on the side of the book... It came with the book... The book marker has a spool of thread on the end of it....I just love them both... Thank you Lynn... :)

This is a fairy that my good friend on the Cape has sent me for Christmas... The title of this Fairy is called "We All Needle Little Love"... Notice the thimble on her head, she is holding a needle in her right hand and the thread in her left hand.... If you click on the picture you can see her better....This figurine is by "Jim Shore" and you can find it on his web site... Thank you Ruth I just Love her ... Now, I have 2 of Jim Shore's figurine's.... :)

This is the I pod that my sister (Debbie) had given to me for Christmas... I am having alot of fun putting my songs on it.... Thanks Debbie, I just love it.... :)

Christmas Eve

This red work called "Christmas Eve",  I worked on this in Dec.  It was a pattren that was on "First Friday Freebie"... The Bolg is " The Painted Quilt"... Kaaren has a new pattern  for anyone on the first friday of every month... I just love this one... It is suppose to be made into a Christmas stocking... but... everyone I know has a stocking ... So, I just make it into a pillow and use it as a gift for Christmas this year....:)
