Winter Wonderland

I had been working on the quilt "Winter Wonderland"..... I put all the embroidery blocks together and binding around it... Then I had to stitch the "Fly Stitch" around the blocks.... This part is done and now I have been working on the blocks that goes around this.... The next time you see this, I will have it completed....If you click on the picture you can see it better... I took the picture outside, and some of the sunlight came through.... :)

Emfroidery Stitch Tool

As you all know I have been doing more embroidery.... There were some stitches I was not familiar with.... So, I purchase this Stitch Tool Booklet.... There is 180 different stitches and combinations... Also Illustration for left and right handed stitching..... The book also stands as in the picture.... I purchase it on Amazon.... It was a great help for me to do the Fly Stitch that is required around the blocks on "Winter Wonderland " as you see in the picture above this.... :)

Country Cousins Block #1

This is the first block that I have ever did in needle turn applique.... I took a needle turn class and this is the results of my first project... This block is called "Four Feeding Birds"... The pattern is from the Baltimore's "Country Cousins" by Susan McKelvey... I enlarged the pattern to 18" so, when I am finish with all the blocks, it fit my bed... I did make one of these blocks and I did not like the colors that I choose so, I started over.... I will show you each block when I get them done... Hugs :)

Operation Snuggles

This is a quilt I made for Operation Snuggles.... My quilt guild (It's A Stitch Quilt Guild) donate these quilts to children of Service Men and Women who are serving our country... They also go to the children of fallen Service Men and Women as well as the children of wounded soldiers... We also make Red, White and Blue quilts for the wounded service men and woman... This was a fun quilt to make and a happy quilt... If you click on the picture you can see all the fun fabric's.... I enjoy making quilts for a good cause.... Have a great day... :)
