Jacob First Year in Football

This picture I wanted to share with you all.... This is my Grandson, Jacob, He started to play football this summer.... He is 7yr old, and will be 8 in Nov.... He lives in South Windsor, CT ..... When he first started he was afraid to tackle his teammates... Now he is into it and plays very well... He takes orders from his coach and follows through on the plays... He just loves it, Jacob had 4 scrimmages the day this picture was taken... You go Jacob... :)

A Christmas Story # 4 , 5

I finished blocks 4 and 5 of "A Christmas Story"...The blocks are of Mary and Bethlehem, and if you click on the pictures, you can see the details... These blocks are moving along rather quick... It is great to see them come together.... I am enjoying this project... :)

A Baby Blanket

I made this crocheted Baby Blanket for Chris and Craig who are going to be Grandparents for the first time... They did not know the sex of the baby yet so, that is why I made a unisex blanket... Craig is the gentleman who made my quilt rack for my sister... The quilt rack that I got for my Birthday... :)

A Christmas Story

Here are three blocks that I finished from "Shabby Rose"... This is called "A Christmas Story", and it is a pattern from Jenny Elefantz.... I bought this pattern a few months ago, and I wanted to do this for a Christmas gift... I have 4 more blocks to go, then I will be able to put these blocks into the quilt...The blocks are very easy to do... Click on the picture so you can see the blocks better...I did not use the material Jenny recommended, I wanted to use what I had on hand... The quilt will measure 35 x 45 when finished... It is such a beautiful design and I thank Jenny for selling it and giving me a chance to make it... :)

Crochet Baby Blanket

Everyone knows Braeden (my niece's son) ... I have spoken about him from time to time... Well he is going to be a BIG brother in November  ... My niece is having another Boy in late November... I crocheted this blanket for the new "Mini Mack #2" ...  If you click on the picture you can see the details of this blanket... Now, I have to get busy and make a quilt for the new little one for Christmas.... :)
