Griffin and his baby brother or girl gifts

I made a flannel blanket and the crochet blanket for a friend who had a baby in October... I did not know the sex of the baby.... So everything I made is for either a boy or a girl... :)

The coloring book bag was made by Katy, she made a bunch of them to sell at our quilt show... She gave me this one to give to the baby's brother (Griffin) .... I added the book for him and he will get it when I give the baby's gift to them.... If you click on the pictures you can get a better at the gifts... Hugs :)

Christmas with Jacob and Family

Everyone opening gifts... Jacob was watching his dad open a special gift from him.... :)

Jacob got a new hat for Christmas...It has a beaver on it... He loves it :)
Jacob kept his hat on while he opened his gifts.... He was so silly and loved his new hat...:)
Jacob sister (Kaycee) was showing me her new game "Clue".... :)
Kaylee was taking a nap before all the excitement in opening the gifts... This is their dog... :)
There was sooooo many gifts to open... Like they are not spoiled... Santa was very good to these two children... :)
Here is Jacob posing with his new hat... Christmas was wonderful and this was the first year that I was able to spend with my son and Jacob's family since Jacob was born.... We had a wonderful breakfast after the opening of the gifts... we played games after all the boxes were open and batteries were installed.... Later in the day we had a wonderful dinner... It was a joy for me to be able to spend the whole weekend with my boys, and Jacob's family....I hope everyone had a great time as I did... Hugs :)

"The Jenkin's Gang"

This small group of us sew every Friday... We almost always meet a the Jenkins's house to sew... This day we met a Lynn's house and also had our Christmas Party... Yes, we did sew first than ate lots of Yummy food... The first two pictures are candid shots of some of us working... The third picture is of Bonny's Christmas quilt... She designed this herself ... The next picture is a close up of one the six embroidery's that see put on this quilt.. What a lovely job ... Next is Luanne holding up a table topper she made... I just love this and it looks so easy to do... Last picture is a "Peppermint Pig"... You put the pig in the red bag and pass it to each one around the table... We than share the past year's good fortune, then we give it a good tap... We then share the broken peppermint in hopes of prosperity for the coming year.... We had lots of fun and laughs and sharing of ideas ... Hugs :)
