Reminiscence Quilt

After I moved to NC and with all my sewing things are in storage, I decided to start on this quilt... I had bought this kit some time ago and it is easier to work on while I start to look for a house... The pattern is called "Reminiscence"... I have completed four blocks so far... They are all done by hand applique ... I enjoy doing hand work, and one day when this quilt is done it will go on either my bed or guest room... If you click on the pictures you will be able to see each one better... Enjoy ... Hugs :)

Quilt for the Great Grandchild

I made this quilt for Irene to give to her Granddaughter... She will have her baby in February... Irene asked me to make a quilt for her first Great-Grandchild... Her theme for the baby was Lion King... After a search I could not find any fabric, I only found fat quarters... This was the best I could do, and She loved it... Irene wanted a little puffy... :)

This is the label, and I put minke on the back of the quilt... The label reads " Emerson, My littlest Angel" Love Great-Grandma Conroy.... If you click on the picture you can get a better look at it...:)

The baby shower was held this past Sunday... Cortney made the cake, she has never taken cake decorating and she does a wonderful job... Cortney is holding the cake while Sarah writes the baby's name on it...  Hugs :)

I am trying to catch up on my posts.... In November Barbara and I went to the Renaissance Festival.... This is the first one I have ever been to... It was amazing...See pictures below...:)

This young ladies were dancing on the boards so you can hear their taps... They were good and also tryed to teach a little girl how to tap...:)

This gal was beautiful and this picture does nothing for the wonderful costume she had on.... She is playing a double flute, the music was wonderful...:)

They had wall hanging quilts for sale and one bed size quilt.... These caught my eye... :)

I am standing next to a talking tree... I had to get in the festive mood and bought a feather halo... :)

There were entertainment all over the area... Shows going on through the whole area... Lots of people in costume... It was so much fun... Sorry to bore you with so many pictures but I just wanted to share this with you... Hugs :)
