New Book

I finished reading this book. I have received it for Christmas from my nephew (Matthew). I have red all of Jennifer Chiaverini's books on Elm Creek series. I have enjoyed all of them and when a new book comes out I have to read it. One of my quilter friends (Jan K.) had turn me on to the Elm Creek series. It is all about quilting and friendships. :)

I love this series -- the cookbook is the only one I haven't read. I need to put it on hold at my library... I also have all of her quilt pattern books that were inspired by the novels. My sister has a block in one of the quilts in the most recent pattern book.

Welcome to the Great White North. I grew up in Green Bay, but am now living in Fort Worth, Texas. We went home for Christmas and saw all that snow. It's pretty when it's fresh, but I sure don't miss shovelling. And the days are so short! I hope you're liking it; it's not so bad if you don't have to go out in it too much.

My niece, Maggie, is in her freshman year at UW Milwaukee, and her main squeeze, Jon, just transferred this semester to college in Mequon. (I can't remember which one. What are my choices? lol)

I have read many of the Elm Creek novels. I like the present day ones a lot, and the historical ones not so much. Which is this? Or is it a cookbook?

Keep up the good blogging,
Susan
