"It's Sewing Season"

This stitchery is called "It's Sewing Season," by Chickadee Hollow Designs.... I started this last fall when I traveled to the Cape for the retreat...I take projects like this to do on the plane and to work on when I am sitting down.... I just love doing hand work, I also have more of these stitchery to do... When I am finish with them I will put them in a wall quilt... Country Cousins Block #9

Yes, as you guess I have been busy but, I was not able to post.... Here is number 9 block of the Country Cousins .... It has been done for some time... This block is called Water Fountian... I realy enjoy applique and find it very relaxing... Hugs :)

Silent Auction Items

These two pictures are a casserole carrier... I got this from Jeanne at the quilt retreat that I went to in October... I finished sewing it and will be putting in our Quilt Guild's Show on the Silent Auction table... I put a bowl in it so you can see how it would look when you put a casserole dish into it...The two pictures will give you an idea in how it looks... It is a very easy project to do... Thanks Jeanne for the idea... :)

I decided to embellish these two dish towels .... I machine applique the blocks and stars onto the towels... I need something to put in our Quilt Shows Silent Auction table.... It was also a fun and quick project to do....Our Quilt Show will be held on April 30 and May 1st.... I will surly share pictures from our show... Sewing Caddy

This is a sewing caddy that I made, this is to carry all your hand sewing stuff you need...The pattern I got from a lady in our Friendship Group.... She made it with a rectangle place mat, but I decided to make it different and machine quilt it....As you can see the inside has a large pocket to hold the patterns you need ... The four plastic pockets has a zip top so nothing will fall out...I put three small velcro closers on the top and one on each side... It can hold all your sewing needs.... The plastic pockets were bought at a stationary store... They are used in notebooks to hold pens and pencils... I will be putting this sewing caddy in our quilt show to be sold in our silent auction booth.... :)
