This past Friday I went to the International Quilt Festival in Chicago.... It was held at the Rosemont Convention Center... There was so many quilts, and I wanted to share some very stricking quilts there... The quilts above are a sample of what I saw... There were so many quilts, that I could not post all of them...If you click on the picture's, you will be able to see the details that are in each quilt... Enjoy.... :) They also had a section of antique quilts dated back to the 1800.... There was a sea of vendors selling their wears... This is the last year for Chicago to host the International Quilt Festival... The New! International Quilt Festival / Cincinnati ... April 8 - 10, 2011.... It will be held in the Duke Energy Convention Center.... Cincinnati, Ohio ... :)

When we went to the Machine Quilters Expo in Providence last friday it made us feel like we weren't quilters at all. The quilts had so much details and they were so gorgeous and just WOW! But then some there was so much quilting that it took away from the quilt itself!
