Here is Debbie working on two table toppers .... They are cute ... :)

Lynn is working on the block of the month for our guild...It is came out beautiful... :)

Jan was working on a quilt that she started some time ago... The quilt is a fun and done and I hope she finishes it because it is beautiful... :)

Christine was finishing this quilt... :)

Adele was showing some of the ladies how to make a twister without waste.... Some  are going to make it.... :)

Kathy was finishing up the sweet baby blanket with twist in the middle of this block... :)

Joan was making fleece hats for the needy children... She is always making things for the needy... :)

These two quilts were made by Barbara... The blue on has a Peddington bear theme and the other one is a Winnie Pooh them... She also stitched the children names in the border... :)

I hope I did not bore you in what this group of ladies were working on,.. We have so much fun when we get together and share our idea's ...  We get together every month... Hugs :)

 

Saturday Sewing Society

Adele was working this quilt... I just love it... :)

Shelia was finishing this quilt to put in the Bayberry Quilt show... She did a lot of thread painting in the peacock... She did a wonderful job on it... :)

Jan was working on a new quilt... I just surprised her... :)

Barbara was sewing the binding down on a quilt she made for her granddaughter... She embroidered her granddaughter's name in the green border... :)

Lynn was working on her granddaughters quilt... It is going to be beautiful when she is finished with it... :)

This is a quilt that Dee was working on.... I just love all the quilting she did on this... :)

I hope you will love all the wonderful thing the ladies in our group is doing... We meet once a month and sew all day.... Most of the ladies were not there because it is summer time and they had other things going on in their life.... I hope you enjoy seeing what everyone is doing... Oh, just to let you know that I do not post what I am working on till it is done... I have 5 things that need to be quilted so I can say to a friend (Sue) that I must have her title as "The Topper Lady" LOL... Hugs :)

Saturday Sewing Society

This is the start of our raffle quilt for our Guild's quilt show for next year.... All members helped to make the blocks and the ladies choose their own colors... As you can see it is coming together great... :)

This is a quilt top that Luanne has made out of 2 1/2 inch strips... She used a lot of bright strips and you do not know how it comes out till it is done... Love it is wild ... Cool Luanne  :)

Sally is making curtains for her dining room... The curtains are coming out very sweet and it is black, white and beige color theme... Of course it is a beach theme... Don't you just love it... Great job Sally :)

Everyone was checking out the hand quilting that Laura did on this table topper...She loves to do hand work ... She did a lovey job.... :)

This is Mary's string quilt she was working on... It a lovely way to uses odd and ends of fabrics...You can make it as big as you want... Love it Mary :)

Lynn (on the right) Made this quilt for the grandson... I have showed this quilt before  but she also made two pillow cases to go with the quilt... Luanne (on the left) has the pillowcases in the cornor ... The picture does nothing for the beauty of this quilt... I just love it Lynn .. Wonderful job :)

Here are some pictures of what the ladies brought to our group to share with us... We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month to sew and share our talents... The first two pictures were made by Peg P. ... They were lovely and Thanks for sharing Peg.... :)

Sorry, Peg... I forgot to post this wall hanging .... Peg made this wall hanging, The blocks were machine embroidery and they were beautiful... Peg has finished sewing on the binding.... :)

These three quilts were made by Nancy P. ... The first quilt is beautiful and the picture does nothing for the beauty of the quilt... The next two are table toppers or you could hang them... Nancy was quilting them and putting on the bindings... They all were so lovely... :)

This quilt was made by Kathy W. ... Again the picture does not do any good for what it looks like... The dark material has the nesting dolls on the print... What a beautiful job Kathy did on this quilt... :)

Here is Judy O. working on the blocks for the quilts of valor.... Just to let you all know if it wasn't for Judy to do all the organizing to keep Saturday Sewing Society going, we would not be meeting... She arranges everything to coffee, getting this room at the Brewster Senior Center, and making sure there is a cake and card for the ladies who has a birthday that month... This is a bag that Judy made for her daughter with a label on it... This is so she can put her quilt in it.... :)

This is a quilt top that Christine made... :)

This quilt is Luann's and it was a Round Robin.... I just love what everyone done on this quilt... Luann is going to put another border on it... :)

This table topper was made by Mary and she decided that she is going to keep it for herself... :)

This quilt is made by Sally... She call's it the tree of life... She is going to insert all the family members  names in the light green leaves... She also added some birds in her tree... :)

Barbara made this quilt out of scraps ... She belongs to a scrapie group... I think it came out great :)

Saturday Sewing Socity

Here are some of the quilts that the ladies at our "Saturday Sewing Society" had made when we met this month... The first picture is Katy's pocketbook... The second picture is Lynn's quilt she made for her grandson...I forgot who made the Red Sox quilt but it is beautiful... The logo is fleese... Stella made the next wall hanging... I also forgot who made the last quilt... We had so much fun and lots of laughts and sharring idea's.... We meet once a month... Great job ladies and you will see what I was doing later on when it is finished... I am just about there... Hugs :)

A group of us get together to sew.... We call our group "Saturday Sewing Society"... We meet at the Brewster Seinor Center once a month...The quilt above is a quilt that Mary made... She was binding it today to get it ready for our quilt show next weekend...

Katy Lynn and her husband was showing how to make Origami boxes... They are great for that special gift .... :)  As you see we were all busy, I did not get to take a picture of E. Jean and Catherine... Catherine was knitting and E. Jean was making a pocketbook... We had two ladies who have a Birthday this month, so we had a yummy lemon cake that Lynn made and we all sang to the ladies.... Great time had by all... Hugs :)
