Sewing Caddy

This is a sewing caddy that I made, this is to carry all your hand sewing stuff you need...The pattern I got from a lady in our Friendship Group.... She made it with a rectangle place mat, but I decided to make it different and machine quilt it....As you can see the inside has a large pocket to hold the patterns you need ... The four plastic pockets has a zip top so nothing will fall out...I put three small velcro closers on the top and one on each side... It can hold all your sewing needs.... The plastic pockets were bought at a stationary store... They are used in notebooks to hold pens and pencils... I will be putting this sewing caddy in our quilt show to be sold in our silent auction booth.... :)

Wow... how wonderful. This is the best one of this design that I've seen. I love your idea of putting velcro on the sides, as well as adding handles at the top. Nice job. Thanks for sharing with all your blogland friends.
Hugs,
Cyn; -)

Your sewing caddy is terrific. I made one several years ago, but I didn't get nice zipper bags, I just used Zip-locs. Yours is much nicer!

Happy stitching,

This sewing caddy is so nice. I have one (not like this one) that I carry along all the time. So good to have the sewing put away in a caddy like this.

I made one too, but used zippers along the edges, it is similar to yours but different. :) Maybe I can show you one day. It was in a book called Quilting on the Go or something like that. I do like your handles! fun!
