"Blowing Rock"

Barbara and I went to Blowing Rock in Boon, NC .... It was very windy and it started to rain when were out on the platform to soak up the view.... What a lovely place to go.... I could not resist climbing up one of the rocks.... Yes, that's me in the third picture.... We bought apples on the way home.... I made a apple pie when we got back.... Yummy... Enjoy  Hugs :)

what a beautiful place. Love your new kitty too. Wasn't that nice of Adele to send those. I'm sure she misses you a lot. I miss you too. Hope you are doing well.

I am delighted to have found your blog. I am a new-bee to quilting. I just finished my first and started on a second before I even had the first one finished. Part of that reason in Christmas is coming and I have two granddaughters that I wanted to make them for. I am loving it, and even took over my husband’s old saw horses and created my own quilting frame. Like I said I’m a beginner and I’m out looking for inspiration and helpful hints from other quilters. I am your newest follower #59. I would love to have you follow me back ( if you visit and like what you see), I do blog about many of my interests and jump around from sewing, art, camping, cooking . . . life is too short to be bound to one topic, right. Have a great day . . . I hope to hear from you,
Your newest blogging sister, Connie
