Kaycee's Christmas Gift

This image is the stitching that I did on the sewing machine... It is the first quilt that I machine quilted... I used variegated thread... The backing is a very light purple.. :)
This picture and the one below is a quilt that I made for Kaycee (my grandson half sister) for Christmas... The pattern is called "Stack and Re-Stacked" ... I took a class in the Cape and decided it was a perfect pattern for a young girl.... It looks like a Crazy Quilt, but it is not... It was easy to do and it went together quickly... Where ever I went shopping, I would pick up purple and pink materials... This is Kaycee favorite colors.... Most of the material I used were fat quarters or if the material was on sale I would get a quarter of a yard.... :)

I hope you are able to enlarge so you can see all the diffrent materials I used and the stiching ....:)
Now, I have two more quilts to get done for Christmas as well as a few gifts to make... I hope I can get everything done... I will keep everyone posted on my progress... And, as always THANKS for stopping at my Blog and have a great day.... Keep on Quilting ......:)
